The Great Big Sardinian Wedding

Hi
I have just come back from the wedding of the year of my good friends,
(perhaps even my adopted Godmother and Godfather) Tim & Raffaela.
It was the best ( and only wedding i've ever been to) and it was very beautiful and great fun.
I also met 2 of my best childhood friends so far - Satya and Shanti.
Wow what a wonderful week!

Opo has arrived!

My grandad from South Africa has arrived!!
Yipee!!
Not the first time I see him, but it could be the last as he has a dodgy ticker....
Tick tock ...
Thats him in the picks above..no not the white smiley one sitting in the garden ( thats my baby)
He is the knarly ex-mercenary with umpteen tattoos in the photo above that one.
I can only count as far as two ( excluding one ) so far, but my dad told me umpteen sounds a big number and i believe him!

I am 21 months now and getting more agile every day.
I can climb my dads legs, run very fast, and hit my parents with various objects.
(They make funny faces and sounds when i do this and it always makes me laugh)
My granddad is taking me to the park a lot and its great to teach him how to do things!
More later......

My parents took me to my first camping music festival and i loved it!
Dancing to the music till late at night and sitting round the fire till late at the Piano bar
listening to great music.

I am 19 months old now - becoming a little lady or a little monster, depends who you speak to.
My vocabulary up to now:
The Usual - mama, papa, dada, booboo, byebye, no!, boo, baby, baba, num num, two, ta
The unusual- Hiya, (english hi greeting), chair, shoes, sunshine, whats this?, juice, please, fish
and sometime: what is this?

I enjoy being outdoors of course. My dad has put a swing in the garden tree and i love that!

The Ocean is full of Junk !

Just saw on the news that no part of our Oceans have been left untouched by man. i.e they are polluted with oil, junk and chemicals and have been overfished.
Thanks mom! Thanks Dad!
What? It wasn't you, you say! Well then who was it?

Just come back from South AFRICA!!!
WHAT A TRIP! I saw big elephants, polar bears,(all these were stuffed and died of natural causes apparently ),dogs, cats, birds, frogs, geese, rabbits and my granma (Ama) and grandpa (not sure what to call him yet) and my uncle Mark and uncle Malcolm ( Crazy Welsh dude!).
Also saw real, fat warthogs, crossing the road,
went to a place called the Oriental plaza to have curry pies and gravy.
also to lots of terrible shopping centres that are killing small businesses.

Had my first swim and started walking at 14 months!!!
Wow! Walking is cool!
Ate lots of Lekkerr ZA meat cooked on the braai! Yummy!
Somehow i got a virus (maybe chicken pox) but am feeling better now!
